Certainly off the original topic, but on-topic for not providing a citation. There are many Western News. None of them are common knowledge (no citation is needed when mentioning Pravda, The Daily Mail, etc). Can you please provide a link or citation of some sort?

I did a google search on The Western News, and I think that this is what he is talking about Canady.

My personal shortcomings aside;

Who started all this nonsense? Some guy I never heard of is against gay marriage for religious reasons. The MSM picked up this "extremely important story", and then broadcast this all over the country, and then created an uproar against this guy because they are of course in favor of gay marriage, and this is part of their liberal agenda;

Now we have an uproar from people on the right who are against gay marriage in support of this same guy;

This is a perfect example of the MSM's tactics that I have tried to tell you about(They did basically the same thing with the Wisconsin teacher's protest a short time ago) And just like I told you before, they have again done "a wonderful job" in further dividing our country.

Thanks mtbturtle,

I followed your particular instructions(Yeah, but you should be careful what you wish for: A little knowledge is a dangerous thing in the hands of the "wrong" people)

If it is, what's exciting about that? C'mon, this sort of stuff is just dragging down the level of thought and discussion.

There is actually a lower level of thought possible to this discussion?

Yeah. Everytime we digress to right-wing talking points about the MSM, we're just wasting the time of a lot of perfectly innocent electrons. C'mon, let's get back to ebola. What's gone on there this week? Is there a real concern? Are there new cases?

Canady,

I found a story on CNBC from today. Sounds like they have it contained, at least for the present time.

Just an update from the World Health Organization website:

5 September 2012 -The Ministry of Health (MoH) of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) continues to work with partners to control the outbreak of Ebola haemorrhagic fever. As of 3 September 2012, a total of 28 (eight confirmed, six probable, and 14 suspected) cases including 14 deaths had been reported from Haut-Uélé district in Province Orientale. The reported cases and deaths have occurred in two health zones – 18 cases, including 11 deaths in Isiro and 10 cases, including three deaths in Viadana. The fatal cases in Isiro include three health-care workers.
