Things are now set up so that everyone can contribute to the News Forum. Just follow the simple format outlined here, and your news posting will appear on the What's New page. So if you come across something interesting, or if you just enjoy reporting new breakthroughs and important finds, feel free to share them with the rest of us on the News Forum.

I was thinking it might be nice if the posted news articles could be confined to the News section on the What's New page. Several times in recent weeks the Science Chat Forum What's New has been dominated by news articles which severely limits the number of recent posts available for quick viewing. This makes checking recent posts throughout the forum a bit more of a laborious process. Hope we can change it

I think it was already decided that news postings should be confined to the news section, then the mods can move any threads that gain discussion into the relevant fora if they choose to.
