Homemade site-blocking script

Does anyone no of a script that can block individual sites?

Like a iptables automatization? Maybe you can view something in firewall packages... (Firestarter?)

something a bit more pacific where i can wright in an address and it would block the site

Maybe you can use a firefox plugins (like adblock or blocksite). But, I don't know, if you use another browser.
